I got an email from Mrs. Finfrock today:
Dear Mrs. South,
Thanks for the pictures of the Amaryllis. Yours is way ahead of mine, and so different. The Apple Blossom is not even close to blooming, but has leaves so tall that they are falling over. So far there is no sign of a second stalk, but the second set of leaves which we observed at school is continuing to grow. As of now, it appears as though it will hold off until we get back to school to bloom!
