Today we welcomed Mr. Leslie, Katie's dad as our Mystery Reader. He shared a familiar story The Runaway Pumpkin and a new story we've never heard called Don't Call Me Pig. Thank you so much for donating both stories to our classroom library!

movie night

Carter, Logan, Ava and I will be at Movie Night tonight at 6 p.m.!  Young's PTA presents Bedtime Stories featuring Adam Sandler. Both showings, 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. are SOLD OUT. Be sure you bring your tickets passed out on Thursday to enter the gym.

ease the tease

Today Imagination Theatre performed Ease the Tease. We learned many great strategies we can use if we are being teased in the classroom, on the bus, on the playground, at lunch or anywhere else. Of course, we've encouraged students to respect yourself and others and work hard to not be the one doing the teasing. It was a great assembly and we got a lot out of it!
